Dancing with the Stars Week 4
Tonight: Viennese Walt and Paso Double. Two dances that have very little in common except I really like them both. Come on, you know you’ve all imagined waltzing like that with some handsome prince. It’s a girl right of passage. And if you’ve been reading these along the way, you know my feeling on the paso. I’m still very picky about it. I’m sad by the fact that Louis will not be doing this one tonight (and you can tell he’s a bit twitchy about it too from his blog!).
So, remember last week, with Derek’s injury? Well, last I heard, he’s still out and Jonathan is stepping in for him. They’re waltzing. As of now, I’m still saying it will be anther guy going this week. The women are just too strong. I could be wrong and the show could completely change that opinion.
Apparently is “Chest Out” night for the guys and girls (and the girls’ girls).
Dance #1 Kristi and Mark paso double to “Blue Monday”
Seriously folks, give her a fun dance. She can’t do the passion (and neither can her partner). I adore her but she’s just not a GRRR type person. She’s Yama. She’s fun. She’s sweet. Really? “Blue Monday”? I love this song but not for this. I’d rather see a waltz to this. Not her strongest. Remember, I’m VERY picky about the paso. It takes a lot to impress me. See, I love her but I wasn’t feeling this at all. They are going to over score her. I can tell. And it will come back to bite her in the bum. Really, this is the first week I have no desire to vote for her. And I’ve voted at least twice for her every week. Yep, very over scored her. That was an “8” dance, not even close to “10”s.
Dance #2 Priscilla and Louis Viennese Waltz to “Do Right Woman Do Right Man”
I love her dress. Ooo. So good and her feet came off the floor. They’ll nail them for that, which is just dumb. Fair thing about the shoulders. Yep, Carrie Ann the Lift Grinch saw it. That just sucks. There are so many things that are worse than something like that. Louis’ going to be ticked! (And Tony will hate on the judges too.) Of course I’ll vote for them!
Dance #3 Adam and Julianne paso double to paso-y song that has not lyrics so I can’t look it up
Yeah, I like Adam. I’m not sorry. Dang! Julianne looks hot. And Adam is on a unicycle? The dance isn’t all that bad. It’s not good either but it’s not bad. The judges are going to hate it. Interesting. That’s a good word for it. Julianne just cursed! They are on a delay! Well, they didn’t totally tear it apart.
Dance #4 Marlee and Fabian Viennese Waltz to “Always a Woman to Me”
Love her dress too. It suits her. AND HER FEET DIDN’T LEAVE THE GROUND! Aw. That was beautiful. I approve! It deserved higher than that. I love Marlee! And Fabian has totally won me over.
Okay, this is just weird. You have to understand, Indiana’s primary is in May. Usually by then everything’s decided. So we don’t get the Presidential candidates’’ ads. I’ve seen two different Obama ads. One last Monday and one just now. That’s just not natural! We NEVER get those. And thus ends any and all politics talk in my journal.
Dance #5 Mario, Karina and Karina’s chest paso double to “Higher Ground”
Seriously, Karina’s showing some skin! She has the body to do it, but still. Again with the music! Not the dancers’ fault at all. That was good. Of course Karina used to be Louis’ partner, so she’s going to do well there. She has no choice. Did not need to know that Len. Ever.
Sheryl Crow. Huh. Not who I think of when I think ballroom dance. But hey!
Dance #6 Jason and Edyta Viennese Waltz to “This Is a Man’s World”
Edyta’s wearing more clothes than most of them. My world is askew. I think he’ll do well here. HA! Medieval Times! WIN! I’m sure they enjoyed their Medieval Pepsi. I liked it. But hey, apparently the judges don’t agree with me tonight. Or maybe they do. Hee! Jason’s wife is cheering louder than anyone else! Now those “10”s I agree with!
Dance #7 Cristina and Cheryl paso double to paso-y song with no lyrics so I can’t look it up
Ooo. They’re snippy at each other. Really. Cheryl’s wearing less than Edyta. I’m scared. Hold me! Actually, is that Mel’s paso outfit from last season? It’s close to it. Only I think this one is made of rubber in some places. And Cristian? Tails without a shirt? ‘kay. It was macho. But was it good? I don’t know how I feel about it.
LATIN NIGHT NEXT WEEK!!!!! Sorry. I love Latin Night. Louis’ doing Latin! This brings me joy. It makes me all tingly.
Dance #8 Shannon and Derek Viennese Waltz to “Keep Holding On”
And he’s okay! Or he’s just really stubborn! (It’s probably both.) I think out all the dances to do with a neck injury, this is the one. And he did it well. Both of htem did. This is why I love this dance. It’s so romantic. And her dress is my favourite. I’d have no where to wear it but I want it. I agree with those scores as well!
Dance #9 Marissa, Tony and Tony’s well toned chest paso double to that bull fighting song you would expect a paso to be done to
Seriously, Tony. Nice rack. Go get ‘em Marissa! I love that Tony’s comfortable getting sexy with her. He doesn’t have to. I LOVE HER SHOES! She’s got the emotion right for this. Look at that girl’s face! I loved it. And she has Adrian Zmed in the audience for her! Oh shut it Carrie Anne. You’ve brought Tony’s under the breath comments on yourself. At least they loved it. BOO on those 8s! She deserved higher!
I still think it’s a guy going home. Probably Adam. Which it’s time. The phone lines are busy now but I got some of my votes in during the show and I can always go online. As can you!
