Dancing with the Stars Week 5
Alright, sick or not, hating the world or not, it’s Latin night, dang it!
So, Louis, on his blog, was all meek and humble and then still slammed the judges by pointing out others did the same move they did and were not only not penalized but it didn’t even get mentioned. Is it any wonder why I love him so? They are doing the rumba and Marlee is just as witty in her blog as she is in real life and she let it be known that they are doing the samba.
I know in the past I’ve let it be known I’m not fond of the rumba. I’ve discovered, I don’t mind it if it’s done really well. It’s just none done well that often.
Dance #1: Mario and Karina samba to “A Tisket-A Tasket”
Oh that’s not fair, pulling out the Stevie Wonder connection! Don’t make me like you! Meanwhile the costumers seem to have a vendetta against Big Bird and took it out on Karina. It looks like since they told him his style is wild, he’s holding back. Karina’s not, so I think it’s just him. And did that count as a lift? By definition it should! Of course it didn’t. It’s like they were watching a different dance than I was. *shrugs* SEE! Karina knows it’s Big Bird too! Oh yeah, they watched a different dance than I did.
I must say all the stars look really good tonight. The costumers all love them.
Dance #2: Priscilla and Louis rumba to “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face”
Did my ears deceive me or did Tom just call out the judges a bit? Love him too. Hmm, Monique said the same thing about Louis! Love them! VOTE FOR THEM! Hello Hottie Mr. Van Amstel! I’ll even forgive you for the white belt. Dang baby! Get a room! That means they are doing a good rumba, by the way. How old is she again? BOO! ALL JUDGES! Why don’t they like them anymore?! 1-800-868-3410. CALL!!! CALL!! CALL!!!
James Blunt! He has the wickedest sense of humor. Makes me adore him.
Dance #3: Marissa and Tony samba to “Tambourine”
Tony totally checked out her butt! They are adorable. Can I have this version of this song? It’s really good. And the dance is wonderful! The only thing it was missing was a Samba roll. You know when I get one of those, I’ll be very happy. Come on Marissa, live for all of us and feel up that chest! I’m sorry. I have no idea where that came from.
Dance #4: Cristian and Cheryl rumba to “If You’re Not the One”
Sort of on topic, Cristian is going to be on the newest piece of VH1 crack that premiered yesterday: Viva Hollywood. Which is all about telenova people. So funny. Much like this skit. You should watch it. I didn’t hate it but it feels like it’s lacking something. Not sure what though. What Len said.
Dance #5: Marlee and Fabian samba to “Samba Hey Hey” possibly?
These two are just likeable, you know? For not being able to hear, she not that much off the beat. Which in samba is saying something. I still love her. They are fair scores. And if she can get past this, it’s smooth sailing for her because of the dances they have left. Next weeks starts the catch up on the dances they haven’t done before.
Along those same lines, I want to see Louis paso double this season! VOTE!
Dance #6: Kristi and Mark rumba to “Say What You Need to Say”
You know, the judges are making me not like Kristi and I don’t like that. You know, the rumba isn’t the dance I’d invite the family come watch. Just saying. The costumers hate Mark obviously. Once again, I don’t hate it, it’s just missing something. The judges, of course, will love it. And they did. That dance was not worth 10s at all.

Dance #7: Shannon and Derek samba to “Pon De Replay”
Poor Derek. He’s just a medical disaster this year! *pets* SAMBA ROLL! They are the only couple to do one. See! Shannon petted him and said, “Good boy!” So cute. And I love her hair. I try to get mine to do that often when I wear head bands like that.
Why is Louis lounging in Cheryl’s lap while she massages his head? I don’t mind. I’m just curious.
More kiddies next week!
Dance #8: Jason and Edyta rumba to “You’re All I Need to Get By”
I expect this to be good as this is what Edyta does. And with Jason’s physique, it just lends itself to this dance, I think. And Edyta is wearing a lot for her and a rumba. Is she getting conservative? I think that was the best dance of the night and I never thought I’d say that about a rumba. But this is Edyta’s thing, so there you go. Len, your British is showing.
Ew! The group number is a country one. I don’t wanna watch it! It goes against my alternative girlness. Gosh, I really don’t know how it’s going to go down tomorrow night. I hope it’s not Louis but they have the lowest score. I really don’t know who the encore is going to be at all.
