Dancing with the Stars Week 7 1/2 Results
The word is, if Cristian drops out, they may still eliminate someone else. We’ll see.
Tony’s adorable! He’s so excited for their 9s! I still love Derek and his comments from last week. Aw! Edyta is so lovely too! I’m pulling for her so hard right now and the fact that I like Jason is just icing. Derek totally checked out her chest! But there’s nothing between them. Uh huh. Oh, Jason, I’m loving you more.
Cristian is there but Cheryl’s wearing her samba dress and he’s wearing a different costume (and it is a costume, he doesn’t dress like that in real life). If they are safe, they will most likely be announced first.
I’ve read that Len needs to get with the current dance styles in regards to the hip hop. Well, I’m very much of that generation and I don’t like seeing the hip hop in the ballroom. It’s not freestyle. It’s cha cha or mambo or samba.
Def Leppard! LOUIS! Dance Center! I’m happy about tonight’s filler, if you can’t tell.
Tonight’s Encore: Jason and Edyta! The quickstep! Which is good as I watching HIMYM mostly during this last night. That was just enjoyable!
Fun fact: Jason and Edyta are the first repeat Encore couple this season and we’re well over half-way.
Fun fact #2: That song was done by The Brian Stitzer Orchestra. My fav band is another neo-swing group: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. The pros all use their music where they teach. And would all like to see them perform live on the show. As would I. And I know them! And they know me!
Ooo! They’re finally giving into the lifts. Kinda.
First couple safe: Kristi and Mark (and I’m not happy about that)
I have a feeling this means that Cristian and Cheryl are gone.

Dance Center is love! I like the average up in the corner! We need stats on this show! I’m sorry for lack of commentary, I’m just enjoying this too much to chat. I WANT PART TWO NOW!!!!!! I want an hour of Dance Center. I would watch that like men watch Sports Center. Of course, I watch Sports Center sometimes too.

Oh yeah, it’s an elimination show! That’s how much I enjoyed that. Totally forgot about that.

Dance Center Part Duex! Jerry Rice, I love you. Always did on this show. And Kenny mocking Mark! Loved him even before he started Sports Center. I’ve loved him since RPM Tonight. And the teeth! *pets them all* Okay, I almost just spit water all over my laptop. Have I mentioned I love this?
Second couple safe: Mario and Karina. Good for them. I can’t believe I just wrote that. They are growing on me slowly.
I have not heard this song. And Samantha’s hair is much too large. She’s obviously getting into the metal theme of the night. I like the random cut to the Rick Allen Cam.
Fun fact #3: These pros danced with totally different partners last year and competed against them and their new partners this year. Obviously they did much better together. And they were very enjoyable. You should see her mambo. She was a mambo champ with her old partner.

I HATE the “after the brake” fake out!
Oo, the moment we’ve been waiting for. Cristian and Cheryl. Edyta was ticked they let him keep going last night. And that makes me love her more. Oh good, he can keep going, if possible. What a trooper. I’m tearing up. I VOTED FOR HIM!!!!!!!
Third couple safe: Cristian and Cheryl. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bottom two number 1: Marissa and Tony

Eliminated: Shannon and Derek. And now she’s even happier. She had a big hatred on for Shannon. I don’t and never will. So, I’m sad to see them go.
At this point, I like everyone. Some more than others, but I like everyone.
