jesidres regularly spoils me. And know I've got someone new! Someone who unexpectedly surprised me.
First of all, I made this post and if you care to peruse the comments, you'll see thativydoor and I got into a deep conversation about how world peace could be brought about. jesidres was on it and gave us this. This then lead to a Cute-off at ivydoor's neck of the woods. The winner? The world.
Now, for the new stuff! Many of you know and loveswankkat and her delicious art. Some smutty, some not, all wonderful. Well, I used to be a member of the Carlisle Cooperative (as if you couldn't guess). I helped write the first two stories and am no longer associated with them. However, in the second of the two stories, There's Always Something There To Remind Me, I wrote the bits with the Doctor putting on Rose's shoes before they got out of the car. To my most plesant surprise Monday night, while IM chatting with jesidres and swankkat, Ringo (that's swankkat), sent me a link. I squeed, told her I wrote that! and that she could post away. So, there's this! And I made the icon to match!
Now, I know that Paul is reading this (that'sjesidres), and I want to tell you I still love you! And that's why I asked for the two arty things I did this week. For those playing at home, that makes me George and rabid1st Pete Best. Yes, we have two drummers, get over it.
And those keeping track of the chibis? Well, of course I still have Peter and he's quite happy eating constantly and being scruffy. On Saturday, I demanded two new chibis come into existence. chibiJohn Smith now lives with me. After a bit of a rocky start, he and Peter are getting along fine. Though Peter and I keep hiding his motorboard as he looks a bit dorky with it and he insists on wearing it all the time. chibiJoan Redfern lives withjesidres as it would not be appropriate for chibis of their era to co-habitate. This means that she lives with chibiDoc and chibiRose. Initially, Joan was wary of Rose due to the journal, but she saw Rose and the Doctor together and knew she had nothing to worry about. Especially after the tea party last night where John saw Rose and the Doctor together. Then Joan snogged him. He's still blushing.
