Oh the children demanded to be in the fic and then, well, they couldn't stay quiet once two grown ups start doing gross things like kissing. Because that's just wrong.

After getting the basic ideas of the cliches (snowman, snow angels, snowball fight), I just got the picture in my head of the opening scene: the kids staring up at the Doctor after he gives the most passionate speech of his life and they give back nothing.
