The Stolen Earth= Awesomesauce
I said I would.
Yes, the rest of the episode had plot and all but who cares about any of that?
I said way back when we found out she was coming back, I would cry when they played Rose's Theme again. And I so did. I defy people to not tell me they don't see each other "that way" after that. Oh, I know they will, but really, how could they convincingly say it?
Also, I really adored how everyone else is in a panic (and with good reason) and Rose is just like, "Well, this is inconvenient." And she gets along with the Noble/Moffs! Of course, she got along so well with her sister-in-law last week (that would be Donna in case you're playing catch up), she would get along with the rest of the family as well.
As for CAAANNNNNNNNN!'s (you say it that way too, admit it) prophetic, "Death will come to his most faithful companion." Well, that really only narrows it down to two people: Rose and Donna. Then, let's consider, Rose really isn't so much the companion as she is the significant other. So, that leaves Donna. Which sucks but yeah, I've said all along, as long as Rose gets her happy ending, I'm fine. Oh, don't get me wrong, I'll be very sad for Donna. I'll most likely cry buckets but I'm still a Rose fan first.
So, back to the good stuff. I adore how Rose was all, "Hey baby! No, don't do that yet. I was just telling Donna about your hair, you can't go changing it." And that Jack was all comforting. I do hope we get a proper reunion between those two next week.
AND DONNA/JACK=OTP!!!!!! IT BE CANON!!!!!! AS IS SARAH JANE/JACK WHICH I CAN LIVE WITH TOO! After all, he's older than her. Actually, he's older than the Doctor now. I really adore the fact that Jack kept the defabricator gun. Fond memories of that, I'm sure.
As for the end? I'm not worried. I'm really not. Because David has said he's signed on for the specials and he was very visible in shooting the Christmas special. And he has to leave sometime. If it's not Doctor/Rose or Doctor/Donna, I really don't care to watch. I'm more invested in David as a person than I am as David as the Doctor. So, if it makes him happy to leave, so be it.
In conclusion, I loved it, Rose is awesome and next week should be good.

*calms her mind to put aside the D/R squee*
And Gwen and Ianto's reaction to the Doctor was adorable. Awwww, I lurve my Team Tardis.
Re: *calms her mind to put aside the D/R squee*
But yeah, that last scene was the ultimate Team TARDIS for me. Accept no substitutes.
As I said, I'll be very sad if any bad happens to Donna but Rose is my first priority.

I called Jack/Donna all the way back when she was first announced! See here and here, noting the datestamp. While it didn't happen exactly how I thought, it's close enough!
