Dancing with the Stars Week 8 1/2 Results

I’ll be combining both hours as to make a seamless posting.
I know what my favourite dance is (and it may not be what you think!) and I’m pretty sure it will make the show.
The Countdown:
#10 Kelly and Alec’s Freestyle!
I loved this. I love Kelly. I’ve met Kelly and yes, she’s that tiny in person but the sweetest. Out of all the soap stars I met, she’s my second fav overall but favourite picture. I miss Alec on the show. But I get to see his wife and I’m rooting hard for her! Kelly is still friends with both of them. In fact, Edyta’s bachelorette party only had her “close friends” and Kelly was one of them!
#9 Sabrina and Mark’s Paso Doble
Yeah, I think you all know where I stand here. That’s all I’m going to say.
#8 Emitt and Cheryl’s Cha Cha!
Well, I hope he makes this list again but yay!! I’ll concur with the backstage girl back when he was on: he’s like a dancing teddy bear! And he and Cheryl just looked like they were having so much fun! I could watch them for hours. I <3 the big bull and little bull.
#7 Apollo and Julianne’s Quickstep
I can’t wait to see him later as well! And I bet another Julianne quickstep will make it as well. But BIG PROPS for the BBVD!!!! Yeah, still makes me smile.
#6 Joey and Kym’s Jive
I always liked this. This is what a jive should always always be. Right down to the outfits. So cute the pair of them. I loved seeing him on the tour. The Joey Joey and Drew Show is something I’d watch all the time.
#5 Helio and Julianne’s Quickstep
See? Told ya! And I still love it! And while I would have preferred Mel and Maks (who best make this list) to have won, I can certainly live with him taking the title instead. Oh! I bet this is the “kiss” version which only happened once on air! YEP! There it was! I hope he’s here later tonight!
#4 Drew and Cheryl’s Freestyle
I still don’t like it. I’m sorry. My alternative girl sensibilities will never like something set to country music (with the exception of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” because, well, you know). Even after seeing it live. I’ll just sit over here in the Unpopular Opinion Corner until it’s over.
#3 Stacy and Tony’s Samba
Ah, back before my love affair with Tony began. Was there ever such a time? I never disliked Stacy. I just didn’t love her. But that being said, that was a good little samba there.
#2 MEL AND MAKS’ PASO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It really didn’t matter which one of theirs they would have picked, I loved them all! As you all know. I’m just gonna watch and enjoy. AND THEY’LL BE BACK LATER!!!!!!!! I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND I MISS THEM!!!!!!!!!!!
#1 Mario and Karina’s Tango
Really? That’s not even what I would pick as Mario’s best dance, let alone number one overall.
In case you all are curious, Emitt and Cheryl’s mambo still stands as my fav of all time. If I think about it, I”ll see if I can find these on YouTube later this week and you all can judge for yourself.
And now the “real” show! And I just dropped a blob of apple butter on my carpet, which is the same color. Just thought I’d share. I don’t know how they are going to fit all this in an hour and two minutes. They should have got until 11:00.

A review I read of last night described Kristi’s samba dress as ketchup and mustard battling over coverage of a French fry. I can’t say I disagree.
I bet the filler will be wonderful tonight.

Ah, A Chorus Line. Not my fav show but then again, I’lve only seen the movie as it’s never toured in my area. It kill me that people use “One” as an uplifting song. It’s really not. It’s all about the person who took their spot in the line. But it has a kick line so people love it. And I just don’t get why kick lines are such a big deal. Now, a power line on the other hand…
I don’t wanna watch. Well, it is a cover of a rock song (like most “popular” country is), so this will be somewhat tolerable. The original version of this song came out while I was in high school. I’m aging rapidly. Now, give me MEL AND MAKS! Seriously, to much singy. Not enough dancy. WHEE!! THERE THEY ARE! MEL AND MAKS! I want to see the rehearsal footage of this. WHEE!!!!!!!!!!!! MEL AND MAKS!!!!!!!!!! I WANT THEM ON EVERY WEEK!!!!!!!!! AND THOSE APPLAUSE AREN’T FOR THE BAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
