So my mum rules. On Saturday past she says,"Now I got you an early Christmas present but you need to read this first." She handed me a folder and I opened it up to find a certificate. It said that it was authentic and all when out of the corner of my eye I saw what she was holding. I grinned stupidly and looked at it. It was/is one of the pictures from the Christmas Invasion photo shoot with the Doctor in the foreground, Rose to left and behind him and the TARDIS in the back. I'm sure you all have seen it before. But that's not the best bit. The best bit is in sliver writing the actual (not copied) signature of David Tennant and he cutely printed "THE DOCTOR" below his name. Like someone would have picked it up and didn't know who he was. It in a lovely frame and all. It is currently sitting on my vanity overlooking my bed.

She said she got it off of eBay (where else) right before season two premiered over here. Since then, she said similar things have quadrupled in price. I know if I want a sonic screwdriver to call my own I'm going to have to get it from there.

In other realated news, I got my shipping confirmation from Amazon UK today for my "Billie Piper" order. In a little more than a week I will be the proud owner of "Growing Pains" by Billie Piper, the 2007 Billie Piper calendar, "Canterbury Tales", "Things To Do Before You're 30", and "Spirit Trap." Yes, I am totally indulging my heterosexual girlcrush. What of it?

I'm going to my first NHL game of the season on Friday. Jackets/Leafs. I get to see the Leafs in person for only the second time (the other being the last time they played at Nationwide). I get my first "best French fries/chips anywhere I've ever had" of the season. They live at Nationwide Arena too. Hopefully Sergei Fedorov (my favorite player, one of my hockey boyfriends (yes, I know he's slutty, I don't care)) will be back from his injury. My mum and I joke that he always tries to be impressive when I go to a game because he knows I'm there. I realize he doesn't even know I exist, though I still contend he gave me a dirty look at the last Jackets/Wings game when I had my generic Wings jersey on instead of my Jackets Fedorov jersey that I had been sporting to many of the games.

I know I'll get to go to at least other games at Nationwide this season: Ottawa (hi Wade! Seriously, Wade Redden,very pretty), one Wings game, and the Ducks (for the last home game of the season.) I love my hockey and greatly enjoy my Center Ice package in which I get to see "Hockey Night in Canada."

So I'm still planning on doing the whole "Who am I?" post. (Must resist typing Ten's speech from TCI.)

On important things: TORCHWOOD! The trailer makes me most happy. Because, yay Jack! Really, the plot could be them reading the paper and drinking milkshakes and because Jack would be there, it would be good. And sexy. Because Jack. Also, I covet his coat so bad. I want it. I want what's in it too but he's just not that into me (or my gender) unfortunately.

Soon I will get to see the PBS butchered version of "Casanova." I'm so glad I got myself a region free DVD player for my birthday and bought the real version from Amazon UK. Amazon UK will make me very poor but very happy as I have the aforementioned and "Blackpool" (no I haven't watched David Tennant licking the ice cream after "The Gambler" many many many many times and still have no idea what he says, why do you ask?), season 1 of "Green Wing", season 2 of "Green Wing" should be arriving sometime this week, I have "Doctor Who" season 2 pre-ordered, and many books are in my possession or will be that are not yet available in the states.
