We're gonna have a TV party tonight!

So, then, telly. Let’s go night-by-night TV Guide style and start with Monday, shall we? Keep in mind, some of this stuff I watch on tape delay for either being in class or am watching something else.
On Mondays we have:
Dancing with the Stars (duh). I’m not surprised that Jeffery Ross was the first to go. I’m hoping that Susan Lucci goes soon (sorry Tony, I love you but dislike her more). I’m thrilled with Maks and Misty (and WOO-ed! Loudly every time they said Maks’ name, how I missed him). I’m sorting loving that the judges can’t pretend to kiss Mark’s butt because his partner just isn’t that good. I think I’d like her if she was paired with someone else (like say, Tony). And Alec has someone good!!! He and Toni are just amazing. Speaking of amazing. Miss Brooke Burke better keep working it! She’s great. Cloris is entertaining for now, but it’s only so long she can keep that up. Hopefully long enough to bring out her former co-stars (I’m looking at you Gene Wilder, Mel Brooks and Mary Tyler Moore!).
As for the guys, I’m sort of crushing Warren Sapp. As he says, Fat Boy can move! He knows the storied history of the other football players. You come in third and you’ve officially done the worst out of all of them. I’m shameless for a man who can shimmy, so I adore him and Maurice Green. I’m liking Ted McGinely’s (aka Show Killer) attitude and think it will get him far and Inna is a treat. I simply love Lacey and Lance. And I knew the judges would either love Lacey’s style or hate it.
HowBarney Snagged Robin I Met Your Mother. Still loving it more than ever. Word is both Barney/Robin and Ted/Stella will be resolved by episode six. With the spoilers I’ve read, I’m thinking things look good for one couple and bad for another. I’m not saying which though.
Heroes. Oh, you silly show. I’m glad I watch you taped as I find half of you a complete bore. All I care about is Peter, Claire (please don’t be related! But then that’s bad as couples who work together after they get together always break up and I adore Milo/Hayden), Adam,VeronicaElle, WeevilJessie (btw fellow Veronica Mars fans, how must did we love NathanJessie protecting Elle? I said, out loud, “Aw! Weevil’s still protecting V!”), and Noah. The rest of them just bore me. Really.
I will watch My Own Worst Enemy at least once as the commercials they played during the Olympics intrigued me.
On to Tuesday:
House I believe I’m still watching out of habit and Kal Penn more than anything. I hated Amber and therefore the fall-out from her death (which was not House’s fault in anyway, shape or form, I believe he told her not to come and she chose to anyway and he didn’t cause the bus accident either) leaves me cold. I never much cared for his relationship with Wilson one way or another either. I liked they were friends but didn’t really care when they fought before. I like all the newbies and I like Cameron and Foreman (I’ve always hated Chase so very much). Cuddy I could take or leave. Really doesn’t bother me one way or another. And, of course, I like House. But if I stopped watching this, I don’t think I’d feel some great loss like I would have in previous seasons.
DwtS Results Show. Or, The Filler Hour. I will take the time to say this, BERGERON WAS ROBBED ON SUNDAY!
Fringe. I’ll be honest. I’m only watching this show for one reason: Kirk Acevedo. I’ll be taping and zapping to his bits. Don’t care about the rest and if he leaves, I won’t watch.
On Wednesday:
America’s Next Top Model. That it for Wednesday, believe it or not. Well, almost.
Lost in Austen ends its run tonight. I adored this and can’t wait to get the last episode. I’ve already pre-ordered the DVD which comes out next week (which means another week until I get as its shipping overseas). I applauded when Darcy did his “favor” for Amanda last week. Sadly, looks like the ratings were not good so we most likely won’t get another series of this.
Thursday night.
Ugly Betty. If they drag out this Gio thing, I might go insane. I can’t stand him. They never gave Betty/Henry a chance and now that production has moved to NYC, it never will. Word is they’ve cast a new love interest though, so that’s a bright spot. I don’t like the Daniel’s son story at all. I’m hoping the kid will end up not being his.
30 Rock, or should I say multiple-Emmy-award-winning 30 Rock! I’m hoping they follow through with what they said they might do with the Kenneth/Beijing story because that would be awesome.
ER. It’s the last season. I’ve watched since season one. I’m not quitting now just because Luka’s gone and Abby will soon follow.
Secret Diary of a Call Girl. What happened to this show? I’m glad I got my story wrote before S2 started to air. Bambi is completely unlikable. Didn’t Ben break up with Vanessa? And if not, why didn’t she dump him after he called off the wedding? And then there’s Belle/Hannah. What happened to her? She’s not the smooth, suave, sophisticated woman from S1. I get that she would be nervous in a relationship, but this just isn’t her! I like Alex and that’s mostly down to the actor who’s playing him. And I understand why they are using body doubles, but there’s no need to make it so obvious. Or maybe I’m just jaded.
Life on Mars. I’ll watch it just to boo at it and say how inferior it is to the original. Mr. Kietel, you may have a storied career and have been in roles I’ve enjoyed you in. But you sir, are no Gene Genie. (Thank goodness S2 of Ashes to Ashes is in production.)
And then to Friday.
Life I will watch as long as Damian Lewis does this show as I adore him and the show is just excellent. Thanks to Amazon’s new On Demand service, I’ve seen episode one of S2 for free already and this show is showing no signs of a sophomore slump.
Best Week Ever. Don’t ever change. I love you.
Yes, I watch TV on Saturday.
Saturday Night Live. ILU Seth Meyers! Call me! Amy, don’t leave! Um, I got nothing else important to add.
Sunday, Sunday.
The Simpsons. Sometimes I stop and ponder the fact that this show premiered in it’s current format when I was in sixth grade. I’ve only been a regular watcher for the past eight years or so though. Caught a lot on syndication.
Family Guy I watched before the first cancellation! I’m not quitting now. And yes, I still watch both repeats each night on Adult Swim as well. I would so hook up with Seth McFarlane but he's have to keep the Brian voice the entire time.
True Blood Or THE BEST SHOW ALMOST EVER! Vampires. On-purpose Camp. Vampires. Sarcasm. Vampires. Hot vampires who ask if they can “call on you” *swoon*, Hot vampires who are Swedish and will be in a bathtub in a future episode! To say the least, I love this show. I have not read the books and based on a recommendation from someone on my flist, I will refrain until at lest this season is over. Did you hear? It’s already been picked up for a second one! Production starts in the winter. And that crazy, stupid, sexy chemistry between Bill and Sookie (who’s his by the way) is not imagined. Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin are dating in real life (I love my celebrity gossip). I could go on and on and on about this show, but I won’t. Just watch it because it is awesome.
When I can, I watch reruns of Friends and the stupidly addictive Jon and Kate Plus Eight (can't stand Kate).
