Sep. 11th, 2006 11:48 pmSo, in an attempt to be proactive, I'm going to try to update this things. Right now, I'm thinking on making a couple of huge "get to know me" posts. If I'm going to put myself out there, I suppose if you bother to read this, you want to know who you are reading about.
Currently, I am trying to be like the cool kids and am writing a massive Doctor Who fic. It's all long hand at the moment, once I finish, I'll start typing. Then find a beta, and get brave enough to post it, maybe even somewhere other than here. Of course it's a Doctor/Rose story. Actually, it's my take on what happened between the episodes (hence the title "The Bits In Between), with smut. A lot of smut. I've never written smut before. It's been quite the adventure. There is plot. Good plot. Good In Character Plot, I think, but I am biased. I know it's not an original concept, but I haven't seen what I've been doing all that much or in the way I'm doing it. I've been doing both seasons. I'm up to TIP/TSP, which are my favorite second season episodes, so I don't want to screw this chapter up. I think, it's for the best, that I re-watch those two. For research of course. I've mostly mapped out what else I'm going to do, including the inevitable Post-Doomsday angst. As a Yank, I hope my Brit-Speak is correct. I certainly watch enough British television.
I'm considering doing my review of all the episodes as well. 'Cause I want to be like the cool kids. Thank goodness the new fall season is starting up. Maybe I'll find something new to obsess over. That and less than a month 'til hockey. I get to go to at least five games this year. Yipee!
Big Brother ends tonight. I hope Mike (I refuse to call a grown man Boogie) wins. I also hold out sad hope that Janelle and Will will in fact hook up after the show in some sort of permanent matter. I said to myself during last season they would be great together, and I was right. Of course I am biased to all things Will Kirby. I've loved him for five years now. He had me about half way through the second season.
