My ship, let me show it.
Apr. 21st, 2008 11:34 amNo, not that one. The other one. No, not that one either. The one that is currently eating my brain.
It's sad how excited I am about tonight's HIMYM. I have decided that DWTS will be on the main screen and at 8:30, I'll turn on my little portable tv to watch HIMYM. Especially the end. All signs point to something that I've wanted since S1 of this show. A couple of weekends ago I watched parts of S1 and almost all of S2. I was sad when I finished because I knew S3 wasn't DVD yet. Something about it still being aired. Silly, I know.
I haven't loved a sitcom this much since Friends and that is my all time favorite tv show. (Band of Brothers is still the best thing ever put on television but that was a mini-series, so doesn't count here.) It's Joey and Rachel all over again for me except this time, Barney and Robin stand an excellent shot at actually getting together. That's right, I was never a Ross/Rachel fan. All ten season, I was, at most, lukewarm about them. No, my main couple did get together on there. Chandler and Monica, if you have to ask (and I wanted them together about a year before London happened, imagine my joy when it did). And I was rooting for Joey and Rachel all the way until the end. .
For those keeping track, I'm better. I left the house today, mostly because I had to, but I'm doing okay. Yesterday, I had stomach problems on top of everything else. I think that's gone away. I still have a lingering headache though. That's the worst of it however.
This week will be an easy week at school as it's just a work week. Which means I get to sit in the front of the room and do nothing. That nothing includes writing. I've finished chapter 11 of The Crossover (for those in the know, it's the "other" chapters now). So, I'm pleased with that.
And now, I'm just rambling to avoid work.
