Dancing with the Stars Week 5

misssara11When I was in high school that would not have meant ballroom dancing but something to do with my foreign language class. But that doesn't matter right now.
Dance #1 Marie and Jonathan samba to a samba-y song
You know that dress does no one any favors. It was good, not great. MRS. BRADY!!! Sorry. Jonathan is just so ballroom, it wouldn't matter who he was dancing with, this just isn't his strong suit. Also, still just distracted by her dress. Oh my, she fainted. That's the first time that's ever happened. I hope she's alright. And she's okay! Good. Oh Marie, don't apologize for fainting!
Dance #2 Jane and Tony rumba to "Breathe Again"
She didn't do a lift!!!! Don't care what anyone says. Oh, she's gonna rumba with Tony. Swoon. I expect this to be good. Let's hope it doesn't disappoint! It's not fair that she can get away with that dress at any age, let alone 56. It was sexy but not brilliant. I think that's because I'm not a huge rumba person. Bruno's right, she looked like Edyta sometimes.
Side Note: I spent most of the weekend being sick and watching the SYTYCD marathon on MTV. It still amuses me they use the same studios. They will probably be the most famous studios in LA right now.
Dance #3 Mark and Kym samba to the "I Dream of Jeanie" Theme
Wow, you can really tell that Mark's lost weight. He looks good. Kym, former partner of Jerry Springer, really shouldn't judge goofiness in a dance. Just saying. That was cute. I hope they at least break 20 with that. Don't know though. They did! Barely.
OI! DON'T MOCK THE SHOPPING CART! I ROCK THAT DANCE LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE. AND YOU BEST WATCH OUT WHEN I'M WITH MY FRIEND JEAN, WE WORK IT LIKE WHOA.
Is it just me or is the sound sort of lacking tonight. It's very echo-y and tinny. The commercials are fine so it's the show.
Dance #4 Sabrina and Mark rumba to "Me and Mrs. Jones"
Apparently, these two have hooked up off the show too. Her dress is perfect for the dance and her. Love the color. His outfit? Not so much. Besides Mark's outfit, that was fantastic. If they get 10s this week, they actually deserve them. But it doesn't sound like they'll get them across the board.
I love when Bruno and Len fight. I really do.
Dance #5 Jennie and Derek samba to "Cosmic Girl"
Aw, I really wanted to see her rumba. I hope she stays around long enough to that. I expect her to do well. She was Kelly Taylor after all. Hee! She said, "Shake it like a salt shaker!" That was good! Couple of wobbles but nothing terrible. Yeah, what Bruno said. And Carrie Ann. HI TORI! I think Len has a crush.
Dance #6 Helio and Julianne rumba to "Apologize"
Yeah, Mr. Smiley can't do that in the rumba. Hmmm, wonder what his fiancé has to say about that. To quote Paris, "That's hot." Julianne knows how to bring it. No chemistry? Carrie Anne, what were you watching? And Len? And Bruno? Hmm... Not with them on that at all.
Dance #7 Mel and Maks samba to "SPICE UP YOUR LIFE"!!!!!!
This should suit her. She's, excuse the pun, spicy as is the samba. DID I NOT SAY THIS SONG RULED A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO? I'M GIDDY! BEST DANCE OF THE NIGHT ON SONG CHOICE ALONE. And yes, I was doing the orginal Spice Girl choreography along with the song. 29 BABY! It was totally the music.
Dance #8 Cameron and Edyta rumba to "I've Got to See You Again"
This is Edyta's dance. Cameron better come up to her level for this one. If he brings his Ryan Laverly-ness, it should be good. Oh baby. That was warm. See, playing a soap stud has it's benefits in the real world!
When am I going to get my Louis on the results show? And I'm trying to figure out the song Wade danced to last week. I will find it.
