Productivity is Lacking

misssara11I have to buckle down and get some things done today. But first, allow me to be whiny for a moment. This is the first time I ever put a story on Teaspoon that has not been favorited or commented on. The bad thing is, you can see how many folks have read it. So, being paranoid, I'm wondering what I did wrong. What is it about this story (that I think was pretty darn good) that no one connected with? And once again I say to myself, at least the person I wrote it for liked it and that should be all that matters. [/end whine]
So, did the sleep bands work? I don't know. As I woke up every two/two and half hours in a coughing fit. The sinuses are draining into my throat, so coughing serves to loosen it up enough to go right back to where it was. Why can't I have normal sinuses? I wouldn't know what to do with myself.
Today I opened u a white leather checkbook cover. It's nice but I'm reluctant to give up my Alice in Wonderland (with artwork from the book) one. I'll certainly kee it because it's very possible I'll use it someday.
Today's chapter, the third hardest one to write. And that's because I had no idea what I was going to do with it. I just wrote and let my pen led me (yes, I hand write everything first). Chapter 16: School Reunion.
Now then, this is what the view was outside my front and back doors before I went upstairs for the night.
And this is what it looked like this morning:
Things of note: we are under a Level 2 Snow Emergency. That means, unless it's a serious emergency, stay home. I don't think it looks that bad, but the news says otherwise. I can't find an official amount. And we are up for another 1-3 inches before the day is out. Then comes the drifting and drifting we'll have has the winds are 25-35 MPH. And the pictures of the backyard from this morning? Yeah, the snow had frozen up against the screen door so I couldn't open it.
