The first on is the one you see me using right now by the ever awesome
redscharlach. Surely you've all seen her work and most likely have an icon or two of hers already.
Well, she said she'd try and take requests and she took both of mine!
First, I now have a general morning icon with one of Alex's best quotes.

And then, one of the most disturbing shipper icons of all time (but you know it would totally work, it's eight years later, she's legal now and she has a thing for his type already).

I know it's not right but it had to be made.
I can't tell you how much I LOVE Ashes to Ashes. I love it more than Life on Mars (which I loved a lot). I think it's the music that sent me over the edge. Being the age I am, that is the music of my childhood. And besides, Gene Hunt was meant to do heroic things to New Romantic/New Wave/Early Alternative music. Yes, I'm aware there's a soundtrack but I'm waiting until May so I can get it and Series One at the same time. Until, hello iTunes!
I'm excited that the first series finale is tomorrow but also sad because that means no more show until next year. Last week was a trip seeing Keely Hawes play off her real-life husband whilst have not UST with him and meanwhile having it in bucketloads with her co-star. I love that Gene doesn't hide his attraction to her but she doesn't consider anything more than Gene being, well, Gene ("Wear something slutty"! Oh, Guv only you could make that line sound appealing).
Oh, I could go on and on and on about this show. Just know, I've watched the vault scene many many times and Gene shooting out then walking through the window even more. And the revelation of who was in the bed in Alex's dream. And well, you get the point.
To sum up, if you aren't watching Ashes to Ashes, do. It's totally worth it.
