Dancing with the Stars Week 7

misssara11Once again, come 8:30, I’ll be spotty for a half hour and I don’t feel the least bit bad about that.
Tonight they double up! That means 12 dances and little room for filler. The big question tonight is, how will Derek and Shannon’s stuff on the results show affect their votes and scores?
I really do not want to vote for Kristi at all. And that’s just sad. I blame the judges and her partner. I hate people with senses of entitlement.
Dance #1 Marissa and Tony tango to a tango-y song with no words, so I couldn’t tell you what it was.
I love her dress. I still adore how Tony doesn’t have any problem making her sexy. He knows she has it in her and that makes me love him more (if that was possible). She’s doing REALLY well. I loved it. She just floated. Her confidence is right where it need to be. I agree with Len completely. I’m worried for her last dance though. If she can pull off the rumba, she’ll be in a great position. HELLO MARLEE!!! She and Marissa became best friends through this.
Dance #2 Cheryl and Cristian Viennese Waltz to “I’ll Make Love to You”
Aww! His daughter is so cute! Of course, I’ve seen his wife and that kid has some good genes. He’s wearing tails! Yeah, he’s not going to dance with his daughter to this song. At least I hope not. I can’t help but notice Cheryl kept those feet glued to the floor. That was nice. Not phenomenal, but nice. Carrie Anne’s right, as much as I don’t want to say that. And I agree with Len again.
GAH! SHORT COMMERCIAL BREAKS!!!! I NEED THEM TO DO STUFF LIKE CHECK MY FLIST!
Dance #3 Kristi and Mark Viennese Waltz to “I’m With You”
She has nowhere to go with the scores she’s been getting. I have a feeling she has one off night, she’s gone. What’s up with Mark’s costume? Kristi’s is beautiful. Once again, it was nice but not phenomenal. The judges will love it, of course. Oo! Carrie Anne didn’t love it and found a fault! As did Len! They’ll still give her a big score. Oo! She got an 8!
Fun Fact: After tonight, everyone left in competition has cha cha-ed and rumba-ed!
Dance #4 Mario and Karina foxtrot to “I’m You’re Man”
That’s not exactly a foxtrot dress there Karina. It’s lovely, just not foxtroty. It was nice. That seems to be the theme tonight.
And it’s 8:30, so excuse me for a bit.
But first: LOUIS! and Def Leppard AND the return of Dance Center!

I hope she does well. That color is wonderful on her. I think it’s her best dance but is it enough? Well, so far so good. And Carrie Anne’s with me. As is Len! Now they have another dance (which requires hips) and the viewers.

I love Edyta and want so badly for her to go far. It’s been six seasons now! I LOVED IT! BOO LEN!!!!
Who’d think Kristi would be in the middle with her scores?
Dance #7 Marissa and Tony rumba to “Quando, Quando, Quando”
Apparently it’s Buble night. I have no problem with that. And she did much better at this than I expected her to. Which is never a bad thing! Aw! I love Tony!
Dance #8 Cheryl and Cristian samba to a samba-y song.
Shake those hips! SAMBA ROLL!!!!!! Oh, no, he’s hurt. No, that was so good until then. His wife wants to go him. I really hope he’s okay. I can promise you, I’m voting for them (1-800-868-3403). Oh come on! What they saw was better than that!
Dance #9 Kristi and Mark cha cha cha to “Don’t Stop the Music”
Right, not Kristi’s fault, but Mark is using this to showcase himself and not his star. What she did do, she did well. But not great. Thank you Len!!!! Ick, the other two however…. I think they know there little pet is in danger. THAT WAS NOT A 10-WORTHY DANCE!
I’m sure that Mario Lopez will be one of the low points for me next Tuesday.
Dance #10 Mario and Karina mambo to a mambo-y song
I expect him to do well with this. If only for who is partner is. Seriously, if you mambo in a red shirt, I’m destined to enjoy it. This is just a proper mambo and it works. I really liked it!
DANCE CENTER!!!!!!! I love it so. I miss it when it’s gone. They have it on just enough that it’s a novelty.
Dance #11 Shannon and Derek mambo to “Ain’t Nothing Wrong With That”
I love this song. No matter how good this is, it’s not going to be as good as his mambo with Jenny. Even with the open shirt. That being said, GUH. No need to close that up Derek. Really. It’s fine. I’m with them on the gawkiness though. Those 8’s are fair.
Dance #12 Jason and Edyta paso double to “THE MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL THEME!”
WIN WITH THE MUSIC!!!!!!! AND SHE’S WEARING DOLPHIN COLORS!!!!!! I’m just grinning here! Ooo, her feet came off the ground! NO!!! Otherwise, I think they would have got a 30. See, Carrie Anne knows (of course). Not my favorite paso, but it’s up there!
Well, Kristi’s not on top. Let’s see how that works things. And Cristian will get a swell because of the injury. We’ll see how it all shakes down tomorrow!
