So You Think You Can Dance Week 3

misssara11Doing a running commentary this time so I don't forget anything.
I've heard some gossip about this evening, let's see if it's true!
Debbie Allen FTW! "Child, the hair comes off too."
So, we know that Nigel and Cat don't have "that" kind of a relationship as she's never been on his head. Then again, they may not like that. Also, I think they broke Mary. That bodes well.
Sara and Jesus are first! And they are krumping! The dance style which can not be described in words. It must be demonstrated, usually badly, by someone who really doesn't know what it is either. When it's done well, I like watching it. I know though to never try it as I know I would look foolish. I'm not enjoying these "getting to know you" segments. I just want to see people bust moves. I love watching them learn the choreography though.
As for the dance, well, they could just stand there and these two would get my vote. That being said, this was great. They are so versatile and make it look easy. They are my Benji and Donny this year. They could do no wrong to me either. Yes, Debbie put it correctly, it was tremendous.
I love Cat but I can't help of thing about the Dead Ringers' Christmas at Doctor Who's sketch. When they were watching telly and alien-spotting, she was the first one named.
Oo, the next dance is one I heard gossip about. Reportedly Mia Michaels was so angry at Cedric during rehearsals she stomped off and said she didn't want him performing her routine. Ah Mia, the ball of sunshine. Let's see what happens....
On a completely unrelated note, I put too much salt on my steak fries and it's making me at bit ill. The turkey burgers are good though.
Oh look, they tastefully edited what was rumored. Yeah, I just don't get this style at all. It just looks all spastic with moments of stillness. Is that good? I don't know. Oh Mary, "for what you were given"? Was that a slam against the choreography? Yay Debbie! I love her. Always have, always will. That's right, Debbie will cut you.
I'm seriously considering watching New Amsterdam. Wasn't planning on it but the ads look quite good and it doesn't conflict anything else I'm planning on watching.
Poor Lacey, losing a friend. *hugs her* Woo Tony Meredith! I do love him so. I remember when he competed. AHHHHH!!!!!!!! BBVD!!!!!!!!!!! Win!!!!!!!! They don't have to dance, they are already the best. I remember when this album came out. Actually I remember when they previewed songs from this album before they went into the studio. (No, not a fan, why do you ask?) Well, of course, I liked it. Kameron needs to keep his hair like that. BENJI!!! IS STILL BLOND!!! I love Lacey's lipstick.
Still not feeling Danny. I love Dan though. Surprise tattoo there Dan. Eh. It wasn't bad. It wasn't great. The judges will love it I'm sure. You know I felt this way about Ivan and Allison last year. The judges thought they were brilliant, I was always eh.
Did you know you could start voting when they do the recap of the numbers?
The dirty rumba! Strictly Ballroom? No? Just me? That being said, I don't love this dance. Even when it's done well, I'm not a fan and I usually love Latin. And they are dancing it to the Pussycat Dolls. Okay then. And if it was any good, I don't know because I got distracted as I was looking at pictures of the new Big Brother house. It's an Alice in Wonderland theme *points to icon*, this pleases me to no end. See for your self.
This just in, it's not the steak fries making me feel ill. It's something from lunch. It's entirely possible that I got just enough of the beef barely soup on my hands to get to me. I'm beef intolerant. That means if I eat it at all, even a bit, I get ill a few hours later. Like food poisoning. Not fun. And to let you know, I didn't eat the soup. We have a staff lunch on Wednesday when the counselors and the office staff (that's me and my gram) eat together. I sometimes have to pick up the food and separate it out. The soup containers sort of leaked and got on my hands. I had a salad and crackers. So the beefiness could have went from my hands to the crackers.
The crazy French dude is fun. I like Neil and Lauren. Well Mr. Neil that was a bit sexy. Didn't know you had that in you. I liked it but didn't love it.
Jamie and Hok are the team to beat tonight according to the scoop I read. They are doing a Wade Robson routine so that's win right there. Sure Wade, hummingbird and flowers. 'kay. Well...that was...intersting. So not my style at all. I'm sure it was good, just not my thing.
The next piece of news is that Jessi got sick. And that she may have been sick for awhile and didn't say. If you reading this, you know that she's not competing tonight. I hope that she's okay and that it doesn't hurt Pasha's chances.
So, Pasha looks just like his mum then. Hmm, Pasha doing Latin. Think he might be okay. Oh, woobie Pasha. *pets him* Yay Pasha! I love him. He's just the type of dance I adore and apparently so do the judges. That's a good thing. I think Debbie wants a pet I think. I think Cat does to. Wow, harsh for Jessi but that's how it's got to be isn't it? I love her but that's not fair to those who did perform.
So the other piece of gossip is that there's already a couple within our midsts. Kristen from E! (where I got all this) will tell us who Monday. She didn't say if it was a dancing pair or what. I have no idea who it is but can't wait to find out.
