Life as a Disappointment

You ever have one of those days were you know your life is good but everything around you brings you down? That was yesterday for me. They were all things out my control and me complaining about them won't solve anything nor make me feel better. So I won't.
I won't rail against humanity over the results of SYTYCD last night. I'm tired of people making me feel guilty though. I voted for the one that went home, so lay off. You didn't vote enough either. And that's exactly what I said I wasn't going to do.
There is a postive to this folks aren't taking into accout. Pasha and Sara are now partners. That is fantastic. And after last night? I don't believe there's only one couple in that bunch. Or they are all really good actors.
So, let's not be sad. Let's just remember the good times:
Also, am I the only one who's not getting things? I have it set up that all comments are sent to my e-mail as well as certain places being tracked for new entries. I come to see my journal to see I get comments and they don't hit my inbox (e-mail or LJ) until sometimes almost 24 hours later. However, if I respond in someone else's LJ and they respond back, I get it right away. What's up with that?

Date: 2007-06-30 05:35 am (UTC)Although I don't pay too much attention to SYTYCD I do have it playing on the background (I'm usually online) but I know the feeling of voting for someone and having them voted off the next night. Mine was for American Idol...when Chris Daughtry was voted off. It all turned out for the best. Remembering the good times is always great!

Date: 2007-06-30 02:29 pm (UTC)I don't watch American Idol. But the online SYTYCD folks are just whiny and annoying right now. What kills me is that a lot of them hated Jessi until she was kicked off and now it's just not fair.
People suck.

Date: 2007-06-30 03:06 pm (UTC)With respect to comments, sometimes LJ is slow for whatever reasons with the comment notification emails. I don't know if you knew about the recent comments page ( http://www.livejournal.com/tools/recent_comments.bml ) but it's halpful to keep track of the replies to your journal as well as the ones you've posted. Not as convenient as the emails, but it's something.
Sorry if I am seeming like a creepy stalker, I just enjoy the friends-of-friends page too much.

Date: 2007-07-01 01:30 am (UTC)And then Jesus was kicked off and I wasn't totally happy about that.
I think the comments have caught up. Maybe. Finally.
And no worries about the stalking. Not many of my f-list talks to me about SYTYCD.
