A Request

So, today I got an e-mail asking something.

I was asked to submit my fic to this.

Now, I've wanted to put my stuff up an award for awhile. Now that I've been invited, I'm not sure what to submit. Any story can be submitted in no more than three categories. But you can submit as many fics as you want.

That's where you come in. What should I submit and in what category? All of my fic can be found in my memories or my fic tag if you need refreshers. Here are the categories that I think my works fall into:

Best 10th Dr/Rose Fic; Must be centered around the couple.

I'm not sure what the ruling is about fics covering several episodes, but just in case.
Best "Rose" Fic; Must be based on this specific episode.
Best "The Parting of the Ways" Fic; Must be based on this specific episode.
Best "Army of Ghosts" Fic; Must be based on this specific episode.
Best "Rise of the Cybermen" Fic; Must be based on this specific episode.

Best Doctor Who "Season One" Fic; Must be based on Season One.
Best Doctor Who "Season Two" Fic; Must be based on Season Two.

Best Doctor Who Series Fic; Must be part of a multi chapter series.

Best Doctor Who Romantic Fic; Must have this as its main feature.

Best Doctor Who Comedy Fic; Must have this as its main feature.

Best Future Fic; Must be based in the future, not seasons 1-3.

This only covers the ficlets, but once again, just in case.
Best Unconventional Couple Fic; Must be based on a couple we haven't seen together on the show.

Best Doctor Who Fic; Must be a fandom fic.

I'm not vain enough to suggest myself but if you chose to sign up too, I know there's quite a few people who would fall into this category.
Best Doctor Who Fic Author; Must be a author of this fandom.

Most Dramatic Fic; Must be a dramatic fic.

Best Fluff Fic; Must be light, happy, etc.

Once again, only in the ficlets.
Best OTP Fic; (One True Pairing) Must be a pairing not seen in the books, movie, show, etc, unconventional, slash, etc.

Most Original Fic; Creative, different, not the normal, usual stuff.
Most Entertaining Fic; For the really entertaining fics.

Um, I think we all know what I'll be submitting here.
Best Smutty Fic; Must have smut in the fic.



So there you have it. What do you all suggest? I have until January to submit, so take your time. And I encourage you all to sign up as well. My fellow writers will certainly give me competition and you can't vote unless you sign up. What do you say? Help a girl out?

I got that request as well, and one thing I haven't found on the board yet is how the judging is being done...did you see that?

I've been thinking that something should be done and thinking I might submit some entries (and I might suggest that the mod handle it as a call for entries rather than "nominations").

What should you submit? Oh, man, I dunno what to suggest! ::grin:: I like all your stuff!

It doesn't say anything about judging besides the dates does it? It does say non-members will be able to vote when it opens up.

I think I'm going to submit pretty much everything. The problem now is: What categories to I put them in? It doesn't help that new categories keep being added.

Hey you got invited too!! How exciting is that?! I have n idea what to post either, and I've no idea which of your fics - they're all ace. I reckon you should just submit into as many catagories as you think you cover... at least that's what I'm doing! x

Best Fluff? Five Times Domestic. I'd vote for it like... eight billion times. But then, I'm biased.

Anything else? I'd have a hard time deciding. But yeah, definitely that.
