Meme of TV

Because I'm procrastinating at work, here is a meme stolen from several f-listy type folks.
a. Post a list of 10 TV shows you love (current or canceled);
b. Have your friends list guess your favorite character from each show;
c. When guessed bold the line and write a little bit about why you like that character;
d. Post in your own livejournal.

Twin Peaks
Friends: Chandler Bing. That's Miss Chanadler Bong to you. Matthew Perry is my longest standing crush, celebrity or otherwise. Chandler is just wonderful and snarky and Chandler.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Anya (I would have also accepted Spike). Who doesn't love their vengence demon? Anya saw the world in black and white, it was the grey that threw her. While The Gift is one of the most moving pieces of television ever, the only moment that made me cry was Anya's speech about how Joyce would never brush her hair again. Emma Caufield is one of the most underrated and underused actresses out there. And, I didn't like her with Xander (I didn't like Xander). I always hoped she'd rob the slightly older cradle and go for Giles.
Alias: Julian Sark. My favorite male character in television history. A delightful shade of morally ambigious grey, he's just so...so Sark. Why Syndey never woke up and smelled the hottie is beyond me. Why anyone would choose Vaughn is beyond me. Look, watch the show. Especially the end of Season 1 and most of Season 2 and you'll understand.
Doctor Who: Rose. She is my favorite female character in television history (that should give you all a hint for someone else on this list, in that he's male, it has nothing to do with Billie Piper). She's not perfect and I adore that about her. Her flaws are what keep her grounded. She's beautiful though, both inside and out. The Doctor never stood a chance.
Green Wing
How I Met Your Mother: Barney. Because he is so awesome that he doesn't get colds, he just has to have a way for the awesome to escape. He is legen-wait for it-dary. He suits up. He's played by Neil Patrick Harris. He looks good with his shirt off. And he's so going to end up with Robin.
ER
Family Guy: Stewie (though I would have also accepted Brian). Evil, possibly gay, improbably British baby who tries to kill his mother and take over the world. What's not to love. My favorite FG quotes are still from Season 1 and they almost all belong to Stewie.
Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law
