So, I'm possibly sick again. We are scheduled to get 8-12 inches of snow tomorrow. I have all my Christmas decorations up in the living room, but have to do the dining room and the little touches in the kitchen and bathroom (pictures will be forthcoming when I'm done). I have received Christmas cards so far from
theyellow_daisy,
sundaydriver and
swankkat (and if you weren't lucky enough to be on her list, you missed out, let me tell you!). They are all hung up along with the other cards that have arrived at this point. I desperately need to clean the house. I can't find things. I called and do not have to report for jury duty on Monday. I have a paragraph and half done of a story that needs to be posted Monday (heads up to my betas, I'm going to try to get it done tomorrow, Sunday at the latest, please be around!) but now have time to work on it. I have been to the store to stock up and can be shut in until whenever.
Today I opened the Sandra Lee Semi-Homemade Cooking 2 cookbook. I'm a big Sandra Lee fan, don't have anything against her, just don't watch her show. But her stuff is so easy. I flipped through and the one recipe that immediately caught my eye was Dr. Pepper Pork Roast.

And in the re-read we have possessive!stamina!Doctor. Chapter 14: Tooth and Claw.

In other Bits news, does anyone else get a cheep thrill when folks review your old stuff out of the blue? I got TWO comments on Bits yesterday. One on Chapter 8 and another on the whole thing. Both people said they loved it, found it hot and in character. One of them said, "Fanfiction is usually unfullfilling to me, but this scratches my itches just right." How cool is that?
Also, f-list, you did catch what I posted late last night right? It was just for you all, in case you didn't find it elsewhere.

Date: 2007-12-15 02:23 am (UTC)I only added that last "boo" so I could mention, "yay" the certain something! I couldn't see it anywhere else, and I could barely understand it, but it still made my morning. Graci.
