What I've been up to...

What we've done at Reunion so far (in case you care):
We all arrived last night and had dinner brought into the hotel instead of going out. As a non-drinker, I didn't stay long in the party room. Especially after Gentle stuck his head in and left. My friends Teeda, Jason and I went back to our room and watched tv and chatted. My roommates, by the way are Jen, Teeda (as usual) and a girl named Allison that none of us know. She's in her first full year of SCL. Jen and I are out of our secondary membership and Teeda and Jason are almost done with theirs. So, yeah, not really our age group. Jason isn't fond of his rommates, so he is staying with us and keeping his luggage there. We don't mind. There is two queen sized bed and a love seat that pulls out. I have that bed to myself. Teeda and Jason have one bad. Allison and Jen, the other. However, Allison kicks and punches in her sleep and Jen may find other arrangements for night.
We we got up, we indulged in the complimentary continental breakfast. Then we got ready, walked the .5 mile to Newport on the Levee and Teeda and I proceeded to kill zombies at Gameworks while Jen and Jason watched for a bit then left to shop. I have completed (before this) the first three House of the Dead arcade games at Dave & Busters. Had we had one more $25 card, we would have finished IV. We died with no credits in either card in the last level. My accuracy went down, instead of up, during the game. I love playing it so much. Though I think III is my favorite because they are sawed-off shotguns as the weapon that you pull the bar thing (I don't know guns) to reload instead of pointing off the screen. Also, in this one you have to shake off the zombies that jump on you and that's not fun.
We were then joined by Teeda's sister Neeren (sp?) and our other friend Audrey joined us and we went to see a singing (not signing
kalleah, I fail at typing) pie-maker. That means we went to see Sweeny Todd. They cut "The Ballad of Sweeny Todd" and it's many reprises. That is my favortie song of the whole show! But it was good. Not great, but good. Don't regret seeing it. The weirdest part was hearing Sacha Barron Cohen speak in is natural accent! Oh, the most entertaining bit was Jason giggling and clapping when the first murder happened. I love Jason, I really do. I forget how much fun he is to have around until he actually is.
We then went to the Montgomery Inn for dinner. I had a half-order of ribs (it's their specialty) and a pork chop with a baked potato. It was good. Then had lemon sorbet for dessert. I spent way too much money.
Tonight, we discussed going dancing but Teeda said she needed to take a nap and she's still sleeping, so who knows what's happening with that.
Tomorrow, Gentle wants to meet at least Jen and I (of course) for lunch, somewhere. And it's party time! As we are a Latin organization, we start toasting New Year's with Rome and then every hour until we drop. The goal is to make it until 6 am. But we don't push it. Once again, don't drink, so I watch my friends get wasted and am reminded why I don't drink.
Then we head home. I drove. It was a little less than 3 hours. Not too bad at all. And the weather should hold for the drive back. I've taken one picture when the fire alarm went off last night and we gathered in the hall waiting to figure if we needed to go outside or not. (We didn't.)
